Unfortunately, the only thing I have been able to draw is this. My original resolution was one final piece of artwork per month. It's almost the end of February and I have yet to produce one.

But! I will post this sketch as my January piece. Maybe I can compromise and say at least one drawing I'm okay with posting online per month. I'm still aiming for a final work of some sort in March.

Here are the fruits of my labor today during my second drawing class. I was a liiittle bored today but Im sure things will pick up. we drew from still life shapes which I took a picture of.

Took my first drawing class today at the Campbell Community Rec center. I was... 20 minutes late, but hey, it's the first class! It felt really good to draw again. After a hard day at the cafe, where I was super productive might I add, it was nice to focus on something mindless yet stimulating and fulfilling at the same time - a conundrum that I don't think I'll find many other places.

I've taken art courses before, so the basics of shading, light, and shapes left a little challenge to be desired, but I took my work home and sprayed it anyway-- the images below aren't anything to...
