got a new pair of vibram five fingers

Im not sure what made me want to get them. theyre weird looking and it took me a bit of apprehension before I could walk outside my apartment without feeling self conscious. but once I did, I realized how awesome it feels to walk in these! My original intent was to be able to travel without having to pack my clunky running shoes. its taking a bit to get used to these, and its going to be a week or so before I can do some serious running. my pinky is the loudest complainer thus far, but I hear thats normal. I'm a size 7/7.5 shoe and I got the 37's. I bought them at a store in Palo Alto that sized me and everything - I didn't want to risk getting the wrong size online. I was afraid at first that these were too small, but it's been about a week now and I think I'm breaking them in. Like I said, my pinky is the one complaining, but the rest of my foot seems fine. I was pretty sore after my first attempt at running in them... the day I got them... which was a no-no apparently. I cant wait to be running one.. two.. ten miles in these.. stay tuned!
