This is my third attempt to officially run in my shoes, and I'm a little concerned. Yesterday, I ran 1.5 miles and it felt so great I could have run more. Today, I slot in a 1.75 mile run and less than 1 mile in, my calves start screaming! I did use a different treadmill, but I'm afraid I'm overdoing it. Maybe I should have spaced a day in between the runs... I don't know. I'm just so impatient to start, and I didn't think one more measly mile would make my calves hurt so. I ran the first mile, walked the next .25, and then ran the rest. I'm just glad I covered the distance. Tomorrow I'm slated for 2, and I'll take it slow. If I can't do it, I'll just run in my normal running shoes to "take a break."
