Wins and things

Yesterday was awesome, but today was depressing for no good reason other than to offset yesterday. Monday morning, woke up at 7:30a and made it to 24 Hour Fitness with Quang. Then had a nice breakfast, a great meeting, a yummy lunch, and a super productive day at the cafe where I got all my work done in time to relax before my basketball game. Another great win. I made two baskets again, and have definitely improved driving the ball and not getting so panicked that I get stuck. But I have many things to work on still which actually gets me excited. It was 4 on 4 for the first half tough, which was absolutely draining. See my pic!! 15 is Q's favorite number, but the jersey's Justin's. A nice coincidence. Know what else is a coincidence? Quang has a jersey that looks just like it. Maaatching!! 100621 201314 Then grocery shopping late at night after the game, which is always fun with Q, and I left very happy with our purchases and actually excited to make food. SUCH A GREAT DAY!! Anyway, going to bed now. Today was a pretty downer day for me... I don't get like this often but it really seemed like my mood was totally out of whack today, beginning the second I woke up. Quang noticed and I am hoping I wake up tomorrow without this cloud over my head. Drawing class tomorrow should help. If only every day was like this past Monday... Oh, PS: I should mention I'm dieting. I'm limiting myself to around 1200 calories per day, which I think is acceptable for someone of my height and current weight. I put myself on the scale the other day and I'm up 5 pounds! I know I fluctuate, but I'd not been that heavy since the end of college. So diet it is. Quang is doing it with me, which I love because I find it really motivates me to have a partner in things like this. And, after keeping an Excel sheet of everything I eat (something I used to do in college), I'm once again realizing how incredibly unreasonable my eating has become. It should be obvious that I would gain weight when every meal I have contains cheese, and when I don't think twice about polishing off two bags of Pirate's Booty chips (my fave) in one week. Though, on this diet, I'm allowed one day every two weeks when I don't count. My next day of this will be the day I get into San Diego-- next Thursday-- when I plan to have me a California Burrito: flour tortilla, cheese, carne asada, french fries, guac, sour cream, salsa... yum. Not my pic but I will surely post one when I get one: caliburrito Other news: My trusty Sony VAIO crapped out, and I bought a new computer (albeit an old-ish model) on eBay for a very reasonable price: Sacrificed style for ruggedness, the Thinkpad x200. I'm so ready to warrior the road.
