BooksILove is the iOS App that allows users to share and recommend books that they've read. The client needed a website that was responsive on all devices, and would also be customizable by administrative staff with little to know knowledge of code.
The design was provided by the client's designer, and included mockups for the full website, as well as several mobile dimensions. The site is built in Drupal 7 with a content-editing end-user in mind. Adding news articles, being able to edit the home page, and being able to edit menu items and add unlimited pages were key requirements.
Drupal allowed for an easy way to create roles for various levels of permission, which made it simple for a content editor with no coding knowledge to be able to administrate the site without worrying too much about messing with any of the core functionality.
When the site is viewed on a smaller device, the design accommodates the screen real estate and the menu condenses at a breakpoint into a collapsed menu.
In addition to the Drupal configuration and front-end development, I also provided the client a staging site to stage changes and administered a development workflow for future development.
